I had a little education thrown my way recently and want to ensure all our Members are aware of this.

When you look at the COL listing of positions, when it shows MORE after the city and state, there are various POD’s listed where the same job is available. This is something everyone should check out, including the entire COL by state. If you check ALL and ALL listings, the states come up in alphabetical order, you can see what postings have the work MORE, it could be a state you may want to move to. It could assist you if you need a hardship transfer. It could mean a possible upgrade.This was an education to me and as your NTEU representative, I want to be sure I pass what I learned onto my NTEU brothers and sisters.If you, a member would like to speak to me concerning an issue, please do not hesitate to call me at 961-5122. For those of you who may not know me, I am an 18 year IRS employee, started in ACS, and currently work in Technical Services, downtown. I have served our Chapter as a past president, chief steward, steward, and legislative coordinator. I am currently Vice President of Collections, Legislative Coordinator and now you’re Chief Steward. How may I best serve you?
